Christina Ricci has revealed that she didn’t enjoy working with a monkey on the set of her latest movie ‘Speed Racer’, claiming that it attacked her.

According to source, the actress said: “I’m not a monkey fan. I tried to be a good sport. I was a good sport.”

“I tried to change my opinion about monkeys early on, I gave myself a good talking to and decided to not be the only pill on set who didn’t like the monkey.”

However, she said she couldn’t keep pretending to like the monkey after it tried to attack her.

“It sort of leapt out and grabbed me during one scene,” she said.

American actress Christina Ricci has slammed actress Lindsay Lohan for her role as a stripper in her upcoming movie, insisting that the troubled starlet has set a bad example for young and impressionable girls.

The 28-year-old admits that actresses like Lohan have created a culture of women who find flattery in misogyny.

“It used to be something that we (women) were sort of ashamed of. You didn’t want to admit to people that you were a stripper, The Sun quoted her as saying.

“But now, the hottest thing to say is ‘I can work a pole!’ Who gives a f***? But it’s a huge weird thing.

“I mean, you see actresses, and their passion project is to play a stripper. It’s just stupid, she added.

Ricci reveals that she’s a “clean freak” when the interviewer asked if there’s any special things about her she’d like to share?

“I’m a clean freak,” she says. “I get really excited when things are clean, and I love sorting things. I love folding laundry in front of the television and sorting things in front of the television, and going through my closet. Like what I did during the fashion part, the red carpet part of the Oscars.

“I put my TV on, and then I went to my closet and got rid of all the clothes that I never wear. And, to me, that was like the greatest combination of things ever. I loved it. I like doing things to my own clothes, altering them in some way. I cut the sleeves off my cashmere sweaters, and made Ramon some sweaters, because I’m not going to pay to get a fucking cashmere sweater for a dog. But my sleeves were perfect for him, and I look funny with sleeves anyway. That’s the kind of stuff I love.”

Bodyart fan Christina Ricci is on a quest to become a Hollywood superstar - so she can get tattoos all over her body.

The actress is forced to stick to discreet and easy-to-hide etchings, so she isn’t rejected for film roles.

She currently has seven scattered all over her body, and she is planning to have a larger design created on her upper arm - as soon as she is famous enough to get away with it.

Ricci says: “I can’t wait until I’m super-famous. I’m at the point when I should really hide them, because directors don’t like them.

“When I’m really, really super famous, I’m going to get one on my arm - because nobody cares then.”

Christina Ricci wants to reinvent herself as a big budget action star.

The actress confesses she was bitten by the action bug while starring in racecar thriller Speed Racer - and she is calling on directors to offer her more high-impact roles.

She says, “I just did Speed Racer. There’s a lot of action and fighting. I really got into it.

“Ever since then I want to be an action star. I’m too small to be a reasonable action star. But I can be a spy, because it’s good to be small if you’re a spy. Because I can fit into smallspaces.

“I also want to play a cop. I also wanna have that uniform”.
